Odoo Implementation & ERP Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking an Odoo Implementation & ERP Specialist to manage our end-to-end ERP setup, customization, and documentation. The role involves configuring modules, integrating business processes, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring smooth operations across departments including engineering, manufacturing, sales, and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Implementation & Management

• Lead the setup, configuration, and customization of Odoo modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, HR, etc.)
• Ensure alignment of ERP modules with business workflows and operational needs
• Manage user roles, permissions, and access control

Process Documentation & Data Management

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ERP processes, SOPs, and workflows
• Ensure accurate data entry, validation, and consistency across modules
• Prepare user manuals, guidelines, and training material for internal teams

Integration & Support

• Integrate Odoo with other software tools or third-party applications as required
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ERP users
• Conduct training sessions for employees on ERP usage and best practices

Continuous Improvement

• Monitor ERP performance and identify process automation and optimization opportunities
• Implement system updates, backups, and security measures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Management, or relevant field
• 2–5 years of experience in Odoo ERP implementation, configuration, or administration
• Strong knowledge of Odoo modules, workflows, and reporting tools
• Experience in documentation, SOP creation, and process mapping
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience with custom module development, Python scripting, or API integrations
• Exposure to manufacturing, inventory management, or instrumentation business processes
• Familiarity with data migration, system audits, and compliance standards

Work Environment

• Office-based role with hands-on ERP configuration and cross-team coordination
• Opportunity to interact with engineering, sales, operations, and leadership teams
• May require occasional remote support or vendor coordination
